Original Screenplays
Hilary writes genre scripts for TV and film, live-action and animation. Her specialty is aspirational, female-led, stories about underrepresented fish-out-of-water or outsider characters who discover their place in the world by making a difference in other people’s lives. Some prominent themes and POVs that draw from her own knowledge and experiences include women/girls, family, disability, healthcare equity, science, and nature/wildlife conservancy. Above all, Hilary is excited to create characters and stories that touch readers and audiences deeply, and become an important part of their lives.

She loves working on uplifting, adventurous genre content with aspirational female characters:
* Movies like Labyrinth, A League of Their Own, the Thin Man series, and The NeverEnding Story *
* Genre shows like Young Indiana Jones, The X-Files, The Mandalorian, Castle, Resident Alien, Ghosts, and Psych *
* Children’s shows like Molly of Denali, Sofia the First, Stillwater, Alice's Wonderland Bakery, Little Bear, So Weird, and Are You Afraid of the Dark? *

Hilary is seeking freelance & staff writer opportunities, OWAs, and representation.
